Your funds transfer has been delayed

I just got this message a few hours ago:

Hello from Amazon.

Your funds transfer in the amount of XXXX USD has been delayed because the credit or debit card information registered to your Amazon.com seller account is invalid. This information may be invalid because the card has expired or the billing address may have changed.

Your credit or debit card helps to authenticate you for payment of your sales proceeds into your bank account. Your card may also be used to charge you for any outstanding Amazon fees.

After you have updated your seller account with a valid card, the funds in your seller account will be available for transfer to your bank account in accordance with your transfer schedule. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or Diner's Club.

To update your credit or debit card information, sign in to your seller account, click the "Update" button and follow the instructions.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.com.

Couple Points ...
1) I know my credit Card is 100% valid and has over $3 in the account (more than enough to cover the $1 test charge).

2) Does Amazon still accept mismatched names for credit cards or will they verify this on disbursement days?

For example if the name registered to my credit card at my bank is "John Smyth" and I give Amazon a name like "Jayne Smith" instead as my name on my credit card would it work?

I ask this because I gave Amazon a stealth name instead of my real name with the billing address on the credit card on file with them.

Re: Your funds transfer has been delayed

Is this a real credit card or is it a gift card/VCC

Name on the card does not matter.

What matters is House number and Zip Code, these must match with the credit cards registered address

It's a real debit card not a gift card/VCC

Just make sure the address on the card matches the one on your amazon account, they shouldn't be able to see the name on the card.

Does the debit card match the zip code of the stealth account?

Was that zip code on another suspended account? Could there be a link?

You say this is a real credit card, but you only have $3 credit. My advice check the details on amazon match your credit card statement, pay $100 onto your card and try again. Call you card company if it does not work. Have you had disbursements before?

bboard, sadly Amazon test charge is not $1....it can be as high as $20 - you need MUCH more on that card.

for me, amazon has been doing multiple $1 charges before disbursement. Perhaps the $3 isn't enough to cover

I figured since it was a actual bank issued card and not a gift card that $1-3 on the card would be enough.

I know from previous experience using $25 visa gift cards that you needed to keep at least $5 on the card at all times or it would be declined on the day of your disbursement.

So, maybe that's it, I'll try it again with at least $20 in the account.
