I believe they do check the address and name . i mean name and address should also match with card. Will gift card work in that scenario?

some cards can be registered in address/zip code but I started in here thinking about eBay... not specific experience with AMZ, sorry.

I know a gift card that works with AMZ but only tested in EU.
