| yankee | 12-30-2015 07:57 PM | Linkage? Hey guys,
Not my account but does indirectly effect me.
Is this a linkage email?
If not, what is this email all about?
To be very clear these items ARE NOT FOO FOO in any way.
Thanks!

| yankee | 12-30-2015 08:25 PM | Re: Linkage? 15th sale in about seven days. $1700 or about.
VERY SLOWLY selling for this item on amazon. |
| yankee | 12-30-2015 08:27 PM | Re: Linkage? no feedback, no buyer messages, no complaints. Just orders and a day or so later tracking added.
Just account deleted and then this message right after. |

| Taking The Micky | 12-30-2015 08:30 PM | Re: Linkage? Is this account set up with "stealth" info?
How old is the account?
Is the account now deleted?
If you have several accounts has any other account had an issue?
My guess is that amazon suspect some sort of fraud, any excessive refunds or seller reviews. Have all orders been shipped? |

A week old
No other issues BUT this person has had accounts deleted in the past somewhat similar and same items. Maybe 4-5 months ago. Reason by amazon was suspected stolen credit cards for account creation back then.
account is deleted.
No reviews at all. No feedback or even a buyer message.
No issues at all. Nothing cancelled. orders shipped within 2 days. Usually the next business day. |
| Taking The Micky | 12-30-2015 09:33 PM | Re: Linkage? From what you have said, this account has been linked to the old account and as the other account was deleted because of suspicious credit card the same has happened here.
As the account was not deleted instantly on set up then the linkage has happened since the account has began trading, similar products, maybe cookies. Methods need to be looked at. |
| yankee | 12-30-2015 09:42 PM | Re: Linkage? exact same two UPC codes link within a week? |
| Taking The Micky | 12-30-2015 09:48 PM | Re: Linkage? How many items were listed. Just 2 UPC codes the same as the old account.
Are these UPC codes unique to this seller or are many people selling them. |
| yankee | 12-30-2015 09:49 PM | Re: Linkage? 69 current sellers all selling 5-50 a day or more.
only 2 upc codes and yes exactly the same two codes. |
| Taking The Micky | 12-30-2015 09:52 PM | Re: Linkage? OK, so did the seller only have these 2 UPC codes on his old account and opened a new account selling the same 2 items. If so this has caused the link. Stock must be diluted at least 5 new items to 1 old. |
| yankee | 12-30-2015 09:54 PM | Re: Linkage? Great to know that even in one week an exact match of 2 UPC codes will cause a link.
It makes the most sense as well.
Thanks for the assistance in determining the most likely issue! |
| Superfly101 | 01-01-2016 11:09 PM | Re: Linkage? Absolutely, they track everything. I wonder if you log into emails addresses (Not amazon directly, but say gmail, hotmail, etc.) and then log into an amazon account they can track your cookies and link you by those cookies from gmail or hotmail? I wonder how far these guys go to track. |
| Taking The Micky | 01-02-2016 12:05 AM | Re: Linkage? Superfly101, if you look in amazon's terms it says exactly what information they take from you. |
| rfloubo | 01-02-2016 07:09 AM | Re: Linkage? How would you know the terms say exactly what information they take from you?
Superfly, I have also wondered how much of one website cookies can be fed to another website. Almost all websites use some google script.
I would wish someone with deep browser knowledgeable could chime in. |

| galigusso | 01-02-2016 03:31 PM | Re: Linkage? Not that far.. :)
At least for now - if there is an info interchange program btwn google, apple and amazon - this will be possible.. but not now..
Bright example is that amz banned apple tv & chromecast on amz - and guys from appl and ggl are upset... my personal opinion - google and apple will NEVER give away info about their customers! (government is exception). Quote:
