Any other drop shippers here know what to do for tracking regulations

I drop ship most of my items on Amazon, and am coming up against the February 2016 imposed regulations for Amazon.com (US) that now 95% of all items must have tracking and ship within two days.

Any other drop shippers out there know a way around this?

if he's dropshipping he doesnt have access to the physical products and the suppliers might not give or have tracking numbers

Then you are not going to be selling on Amazon very long. Adapt or die.

Your best bet is getting the items delivered to you first (items you know which will sell), inspecting them and then posting them with tracking numbers..

Doubt it, tracking is too expensive here (in UK anyway)

Tracking is not required for small First Class shipments

I don't see anything saying the tracking has to be uploaded in 2 days. If you change your handling time it will not show as a late shipment if you upload the tracking before the end of the handling time.

"Tracking Numbers Now Required for 95% of Shipments
Nov 13, 2015

Beginning February 2016, Amazon will require you to provide valid tracking numbers for at least 95% of your shipments. You will not need to provide tracking for freight shipments, or for items shipped in Standard Mail or First Class Mail envelopes (e.g. screen protectors, greeting cards).

You can view your Valid Tracking Rate by going to Seller Central > Performance > Customer Satisfaction > Account Health.

Providing tracking on your orders offers many benefits. We've seen that orders with valid tracking have significantly reduced defect rates, better feedback ratings, and fewer messages from customers related to "Where's My Stuff." All major carriers, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL, provide tracking numbers for free, so the feature is available to you at no additional cost.

Learn more about Valid Tracking Rate and the full benefits of adding tracking numbers to packages.

dropshipping is a fad, you're giving a good chunk of profits to your supplier. get your own supply.
