Sole trader or LTD company when setting up
 

Hi Everyone,

I am planning a stealth account and want to know the best way to set up an Amazon account.

When I have done this before I cannot remember if they request ID like driving license or passport for sole traders or whether its less risky setting up LTD company. But ltd companies can be searched easily so I am getting confused.

Any ideas what is best, easiest and less risky?

For sole trader i am pretty sure they ask id
For ltd company i will tell you when i do it
I am also at the process of trying this
But i read a few times in the amazon forums that they ask id of the director if ltd but maybe not immediately...i saw posts that amazon asks id of director when you hit £15k in cumulative sales

I have the same issue. I need to add a business account, but struggling with the ID part. Sole trader they ask for the UTR, LTD they ask for Company reg number and ID of director.

Id be interested to know the best way round it as Stealth only shows individual accounts.

They will ask for Directors ID at some stage.

LTD company is easier than sole trader.

So set up new LTD company at the new address and sort ID when they ask for it?

Yes, most company formations companies can offer a registered office address also for a small charge.

ok cool, will have to have a look into a registered office, was just going to get a PO box address
