MAC Address Dongle Question
 

Hi Everyone,

I have everything ready to set up my new Amazon stealth acc but have a MAC address question in regards to the 3G ZTE MF730M Dongle (here: LINK TO THREE MOBILE WEBSITE ONLY
ZTE MF730M - Discover - Three)

I have been using this 3g dongle for my old amazon account.

Q1. Does this dongle have a MAC address?
Q2. If I buy a replacement dongle and insert my sim card into it will the new dongle have a new & different MAC address?
Q3. By using this dongle to connect to Amazon is it true that Amazon can only see the dongle's MAC address and not the MAC address of my laptop (Note that my new amazon stealth will be on a new laptop)?

I don't need to worry about IPs because three dongles use dynamic IPs - and I keep a spreadsheet of past Ips.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the quick responses - Sorry, I was reading the Amazon Stealth and it's pretty comprehensive about Amazon checking MAC addresses (as well as browser fingerprinting etc etc).

Would you mind checking the below:

1. Buying new laptop - cheap
2. All new stealth details
3. New VOIP line (and Mobile number, if needed)
4. Dynamic IPs via 3g dongle.
5. The only thing holding me back now I thought was this MAC address issue regarding the device used to connect to Amazon? Is that not why it's beneficial to have the new dongle/router/etc.

6. Re. New Laptop - I thought that the classic new user account approach (for PP and EB Stealth) on windows was not enough for Amazon? According to the Amazon Stealth Guide I need to worry about MAC addresses/browser fingerprinting etc?

Please shed some much needed light!

MAC address is not critical for amazon.

To answer your question using logic...
1- all dongle brands have the same Mac address, there is one for zte , one for huwaei...etc..
So if amazon, ebay or PayPal track your mac then almost 50% of users will be banned. Which not the case.
So they do not track your mac.

Track your mac , IP, ...etc is a stone age they know that anyone can has 10 different computers, and abuse them.
So what they are using now!? Simply, they are using what you give them... Each human has a unique way to run the account.

Simple answer for your question....none

Does it mean one 3g dougle can be used for multiple accounts ?
i am out, i always use one dongle for one account, seems i am wrong.

One dongle is enogh and you should consider VMware too.

As long as the IP changes which it will do when you unplug it and plug it back in.

mac address is from the pc and not relevant

use vmware and track each ip address you have used and dont use them on other accounts

If MAC addresses not important then the Amazon Stealth guide needs updating.

Would really like to know if someone for sure knows if they cant track Mac Address im changing Ips , using Phone tethering , not dongle..

and how can I assure if Amazon , really can track my Mac address..
because in ebay I only use separate windows account.

If amazon can see Mac address seperate windows account wont work.
only vmware.

They cannot see MAC address

But if you're skeptical, use dedicated laptops per account, or virtual machines

Will Vmware will do the work for dedicated Mac address?
1 account = 1 opreating system in vmware = new fresh Mac address?
