Emporium | 01-16-2016 11:18 AM | MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? If I use a VM and a VPN would that mean that I don't need to do anything else to change or mask my MAC address? |
phaz0rz | 01-16-2016 11:42 AM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? That is correct. |
bartalion | 01-16-2016 12:10 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? what ever you do you dont need to do anything with MAC |
onlinehelpneeded | 01-16-2016 12:11 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? ensure your vpn is a dedicated fresh service
do not just buy the first thing from google that is cheap |
Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? New vmware images give you a new mac address anyway (if you're worried about it) |
JamesNorth101 | 01-16-2016 12:42 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? Dont need to worry about MAC addresses
It is very important to make sure that you have a very good solid VPN IP provide though |
Emporium | 01-16-2016 01:40 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? Thank you all so much for the quick responses. I am currently using fresh ips from 24VC for my eBay stealth accounts but my non stealth Amazon account finally just got banned this week so I'm new to Amazon ghost. Thanks to you I know what I have to do next; hopefully I can figure out how to set up some VMs now! |
phaz0rz | 01-16-2016 01:45 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? VM's are easy to configure and there's plenty of online tutorials. If you've ever reformatted your PC's hard drive or installed an OS for any other reason, you already know everything you need to know.
Create virtual machine -> select OS .iso file to boot from -> install OS -> configure VPN -> start stealthing
That's all there is to it. |
muzzie | 01-16-2016 02:49 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? They can't see your MAC, so don't worry about it. |
manoverde | 01-16-2016 06:33 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? Don't worry about your Mac,
All this people advise not to worry about that.
I just follow there advise. |
meoshisha | 01-16-2016 10:26 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? Just want to correct muzzie's post above, Amazon can see your MAC address and many things more about your computer. They have supercookies that can read all of your device information. |
rfloubo | 01-17-2016 06:12 AM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? Just want to add to mesheisse post above, Amazon can also use your webcam so you should dress differently each time you log in. You must also buy some sunglasses and plenty mustaches. Now, I know you might think you can cover the camera or cut the wires but Amazon uses bluetooth to activate the camera and to bypass any material you put in front of it. If your computer does not have a webcam, Amazon has a special algorithm that turns the speaker into one. |

:noidea: | That's obsolete. They hacked those a long long time ago. Of course, they would not say it, would they? |
grt11 | 01-17-2016 06:29 AM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? eBay or PayPal will not see your actual MAC address, just be sure to use reputable VPN, not some public |

I guess they were tired of seeing me wearing the same undies day in day out. |
glacier922 | 05-15-2016 11:13 PM | Re: MAC Addresses (VPN + VM)? I hear this all the time. Not sure if it's really true though now that I tried creating an account today, and that one got suspended right after creation. Quote:

If you tape over your webcam then nobody can see you (unless you use clear sellotape!). As far as turning the speakers into webcams, come on... As far as I am aware speakers do not have any optical device in their makeup so using them as a webcam would be impossible. :) |

What a load of toss | You joke!
Have you read some of the postualtions here?
He left a salient point out.
You must never sit at your computer but rather stand in the rigt leg lotus position for amazon and the reverse for ebay/pay pal.
Mantras are needed to complete the scenario as well.
Load of toss indeed!
