Well this is great news for those unreasonable buyers who file claims and I would normally cave in and just give them a refund

Changes to Seller Performance Metrics

On January 26, 2016, Amazon changed the way we calculate Order Defect Rate. Resolved claims that are denied no longer count as defects and we removed them from Order Defect Rate.

Oh wow. Didn't know Amazon was changing their metrics at the same time as eBay. Guess that's pretty cool.

Yes i saw this first hand in my account this month
I sold an onyx ring and after a buyer bought and received it they open an a to z complaining why i did not send them a tigers eye ring lol...strange claim ever...he even went so far to say that i am a scammer and would only buy from sellers in america bla bla bla...downright rude...i replied politely both his rude messages and claim by stating that all info in the listing, title, pic, description mention onyx and not tigers eye...amazon closed the ridiculous claim in one day the a to z metric initially took a hit but a few days later i saw it resetting again to 0

If I'm not mistaken they have removed some claims from my metrics within the past 90 days Looks like they grandfathered in the old claims when this policy came into affect
