Ready to create my ghost account….Or not?
 

Hi guys, I have been suspended from amazon a few times and I am setting up my first stealth account. I read the ebook but since it has not been updated in some time I wanted to check with you if I have missed something.
Steps taken:

• manually cleaned my Macbook (buying a new one is not an option) - created a new user account for amazon business and left my old one active for other stuff (would that be an issue?). Now I am about to clean the browser fingerprint (do I really need to do that if I download and use Mozilla Firefox for amazon? I have only used Safari and Chrome for the banned ones)
• got a new IP (new router between my Mac and the GPON terminal, with a static IP but same network provider)
• changed name, email, billing address, phone number and credit card. I have a real billing address but it cannot be the one of the credit card, will that be an issue? ( I will be using the credit card to make orders)
  
  Maybe I should also mention I am creating a buyer account. I appreciate your time and insights. Thank you guys, sorry for the many questions, definitely not a techie…

Go it the easy way. I wouldn't recommend trying to "clean" your computer.

You can use VMware and make a fresh install of a virtual machine. That way you know it's clean. Alternatively you can setup a VPS which you can access by remote. In my opinion this is way better and also clean. You also don't need to buy any extra computers this way.

I am a BIG FAN of the VPS, but it has to be the RIGHT VPS. Not the $5 cheapies from those companies that go out of business after 60 days. You also need to have the desktop set up correctly.

Anyway, a buyer account usually does not get as much scrutiny as a seller account.

Your list looks OK, but you might want to go the VPS route. Amazon has way better technology than eBay does and I always err on the side of caution. I wouldn't mess with VMware. The problem is, if you do not know what you are doing, you can easily mess it up. But that is just my opinion.
