Hey everyone. So I did everything in the guide and registered on amazon using a DBA (sole proprietorship ) . I'm in canada so even with a DBA at the bank it's under my real name. I used a vcc from the marketplace on this forum to verify the account etc. Now I have to add a credit card and bank account. Will amazon send disbursements under my DBA name or will they see my real name at the bank when sending payments? Also if I add a credit card that the bank issues that will be in my real name as well so I'm assuming they will see that as well? How can I get around this situation or go about doing it correctly without messing it up? Thanks

Third parties such as Amazon and PayPal CANNOT see the name on your bank account or credit card. With a bank account, they simply send 2 small deposits and if you answer with the correct amounts, they consider the bank account confirmed. And the most they can verify on a credit card are the DIGITS in the address field and the ZIP code. Names are never verified, the credit card approval system is simply not set up for it.

One note of caution with a bank account - you NEVER want to deposit money into a PayPal account, because then they WILL see the name on the account. Bank accounts attched to stealth accounts should be used for withdrawals ONLY!

Thanks. If that's the case then I should be ok. I will just add the bank account to my amazon account t and wait for payments. And add a credit card on file..
