Anyone used this CC?
 

Was shopping in my local supermarket the other day and walked past the gift card stand and spotted that they sold £25 mastercards. I had a quick read on the back and at the bottom it said something like *card can be used for AVS.

Just wondering if anyone has ever bought and used this successfully for amazon before I go wasting money if its not gonna work :yar:

You know.....if no one gives you a yes or no......you may want to test it out.

I dont think so that it gonna work as its a prepaid card, I have tried using prepaid avs card last month, without any luck.

Worst comes worst, card can be used for other purchases if the test fails

Tested last night and can confirm it DOES NOT work for amazon. Weird as you can register the card for AVS so im stunned it never worked. Will test on PP and get back to you with my findings.

Its a prepaid card. Amazon can see that and reject it accordingly

I can tell yous that it works with paypal perfectly.

I got it from morrisons at the gift card stand, £27.95 it cost gutted it never worked on amazon - did work on paypal though.

You can register it for AVS via the cards website ilovemygiftcard.com and you can see what I suppose can only be described as a statement of the transactions etc.

Swipe card only if you want to purchase stuff from the shops. im sure they must do cheaper cards than £25 if anyone knows if they do feel free to chime in and where they found them.

These seems really like the ones we have in IT. 25€ is the smallest size, others are 50€ and 100€.

They works for PayPal only.

Yeh that's the ones, their sister site sells £5 + 2.99 fee mastercard which im sure would also work.

I used these last year for pp and it worked out ok.
Hard to find them sometimes coz lots of people buy them for other things and gaining loyalty points etc.

I wouldn't buy one again, especially at £27.95 when you can get a vcc for £5 from entropay, I genuinely thought it would have worked though on amazon because the AVS the card has. All trial and error I suppose. You live and learn.

Not that I know of mate? If I have I certainly cant remember lol. I maybe give it a bash
