Bank Account Name Amazon
 

Hello, in my Amazon seller central when I go to add a bank account it says

Account Holder Name (Must match the name on your bank account. DO NOT include the name of your bank itself):
Example: John Doe or Company XYZ. Enter same name as you have on your bank account using ISO basic Latin characters. This information must be accurate in order to receive your payments.

So what's the deal with this, do I have to have the names match on the account, can they see the name on the bank.

They cannot see the names so it doesn't matter

PayPal and Amazon both try the same trick

Most banks will allow deposits in stealth names so James is right - OP, you might want to share which bank you are using to confirm it is good for stealth...

I added the bank and got this message

Thank you for providing us the required information. Your account is being verified, and we will get back to you if we require additional information.


Hope its okay, I used the same name as on the account.
