New account, selling my own used stuff, but can't

Sure, it's considered a bit risky, but it's real and it's my stuff, and it's used. But when I click sell it now, it gives me the message:

"Sorry, the ability to create a listing for this item is restricted."

When I go to seller central and typed under the search bar, search for it on amazon, I picked my item, tried to sell, and it had the 'listing limitation apply" button. Clicked on that, then clicked on the request for approval button, everything is good to go except the:

"Your account is currently on the Individual selling plan. Switch to the Professional selling plan and reapply. "

Will it work if I switch to the professional selling plan? It's 40 bucks, I wouldn't want to pay 40 bucks to find out they won't let me! Thanks!

You have to spend money to make money. If you wont risk $40 you can't have a very profitable business.

Does this mean if I pay for it, I can now sell my own stuff (that is risky) that is? I have the receipts.

I don't know, what I'm saying is that if you aren't prepared to pay $40 to find out, it can't be very profitable.
