How much of your stock do Amazon hold?
 

I have been through my fair share of Amazon accounts which have been closed and always have problems getting the stock back. I get long term storage emails telling me how many units are being held, I think it must be over 2,000 units now, which is a over £20,000 cost price.

Could anyone else let me know what sort of number of units and total value they expect has been held on all of their closed accounts? I am trying to work out how common this is and if something can be done about it.

If account is deleted, it is going to be VERY tough to get back stock...are you able to log in OP?

One of my accs got deleted I only had 75 items at their centres so isn't a huge loss, didn't stop me from emailing etc trying to get it back which I never did btw. They ended up coming up with something else I had to provide to them as proof. Wasn't worth the hassle. Good luck OP, you are certainly in a different situation as myself.

Yes the accounts have been deleted, cant login. I am considering taking it beyond just letters and emails, but would like to know how common it is that Amazon take your stock

When an account is deleted....very common, sadly. Do you know the reason why it was deleted? Was there an e-mail of accusation?
