I would imagine Ireland is like the rest of European banks, if the IBAN is correct the money will transfer into that account.

List the banks available to you to jog people's memories...might lead to a better discussion

I think "fresharmor" is referring to Eire. Ulster Bank in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK

From my experience all EU banks, De,Fr,It,Sp with the correct IBAN will accept mis matched names. If you are send a wire transfer this is different as money is credited by the "swift" system using a BIC code and will not work.

Hi there. I've tried Ulster bank for ireland and it works fine for mismatch perfectly! A little slow in withdrawing but does the trick! Has anyone tried bank of ireland or AIB? If anyone has please share. Don't want to create ppal for an account that is not going to work

I have used AIB, which works fine. Bank of Ireland should be the same, Missmatch names dosent really matter.

I also have used KBC Ireland with no issues

Contact the bank over phone and ask them what the requirements are

Banks will have different requirements
