Proof of Address: Amazon Business
 

I am selling quite a lot of things on Amazon and they have requested that I become a business rather than an individual seller. They are asking for proof of address for the business. Any way to get around this?

Well, there's definitely a way to go -- just upload the documents they are asking for. :)
Shouldn't be a big problem?

I uploaded and they rejected it because the name wasn't my company name. It was my full name instead. I own the account and company so I don't see the problem. I don't have a business account so is there a way I can get around this

did you registered for company or sole trader?

i registered for sole trader and contacted seller performance saying that i wont be able to provide the bank account with company name but only with my name because as a sole trader you can use your own bank account. unlike ltd company.

Convert your proof of address into a PDF document, upload to a free PDFs editor online, simply white out the name on document, replace with your company name and upload to Amazon. :attention:

ok. Cant Amazon see that my bank account is a personal one rather than a business account though? I have already sent them a bank letter from one personal bank account but I have two other personal ones at two other banks so I am assuming it would be best to send them a bank statement from one of them.

At the time I thought that if I sent them my personal bank account that would be fine. Because I own the bank, company, and amazon account. I have two other PERSONAL bank accounts though at two other banks. Do you think I should send them a photoshopped statement from one of them with my company name rather than my full name? Can amazon tell if it is a personal bank account?

All amazon can see is the information you send them. Use a pdf to word converter and tell amazon you have changed the account to your business name

There's a solution to every problem - just whether you know how to solve it.

Problem is there is too many myths lingering the forum so it's hard to wade through the bullsh1t posts to find the information.
