Is it a bad idea to convert home network to public network??

Hi. I have 2 amazon account and 3 ebay accounts. and each account, I use different computers and different network(use phone network and stuff). And when I use public wifi like starbucks or library, I don't seem to have any problem as long as I log in with different computers for each account. So, I'm thinking of changing my home wifi to public wifi and use all account with that wifi. Is it a bad idea? I see some VPN thing but seems too complicated to me... Is there anyone who tried like this and have some problem??

That would not work, you should leave everything as it is if it's working for you.

I'm assuming you're referring to the type of network you've designated your home Wifi as on your computer. This setting on your computer only changes firewall and file sharing settings for the type of network. Meaning if you've designated a network a "public network", your firewall settings would be more restrictive on your laptop than if you designated a network a "home network."

Changing the type of network you've designated your home Wifi as will have no impact on your IP address or cookies, which is what matters.

VPNs are not too complicated, you can always ask for help from your seller.

the hardest part of a VPN is setting it up and thats not hard to do.. takes 5 minutes tops

I wouldnt recommend u do that as it leaves u open to who knows what

What you are doing is creating a new network, but your IP will remain the same. You will be linked. You are in the US I guess, just use a 4g dongle and reset it for each account you log onto.

Very bad idea it is, in a bad day, a stranger in Starbuck may try to log in his AMZ account too, and then you are done. Just dont take the risk, it is not worth.
