LLC Name Help
 

The book says to use a name that "Sound Like a Name" for an LLC. But what name? If I use my name I will be linked and banned, right?

No you can't be linked and banned, just by a similar name. just think how many "jOHN SMITHS" are out there.

leave out few letters or add few for example - johnn smithe

Do you really need to set up an LLC to start an account? Those of you with multiple accounts, do you have separate LLC's for each account?

In short, yes. Every LLC you register will give you 1 EIN number which you need since Amazon will ask you that information for tax purposes. In my experience, it just really doesn't matter what you name the LLC.

What about an address for the different LLC's? They have to be different also.

When setting up the Amazon account, what do you use for your first and last name?

I can't really say much about AZ, but you do not want to lie about anything when registering your EINs/LLCs. When you register for an EIN you have to be truthful with the IRS, otherwise you're committing a crime. Currently I have 4 EIN's all with the same business address.

So no, the address you use with the IRS does not need to be different for every EIN. The IRS will not share any info with Amazon so you won't be risking anything by using your actual address.

Make sure you use an address you have access to, because this will be important when you file your taxes. I recommend using your home address if you don't have a separate address for your office.

Phaz0rz, so you're saying you can have multiple Ebay/Amazon stealth account with multiple LLC but have 1 similar address for all LLC when you register LLC with IRS, correct? Having similar business address for all stealth Ebay/amazon LLC won't link you on PayPal, Eby or Amazon?
