Is a 1% ODR guaranteed suspension?
 

Ive had a recent charge back from an order on Feb 10th, so almost a month to go till the charge back is removed...

I am slowy inching up to 90% and will likely hit 1% in the coming weeks....I am going to increase my FBM orders to get a higher ratio for the future but I am worried about the next month.

Is there anything I can do? Account is 3 years old with no suspensions...

i have same question too,so 1% chargeback will calculate each month or total orders?

There are different metrics. One is every 7, another 30, and another 90.

Going above 1% ODR in 30 or 90 is a guaranteed suspension, no if's and's or buts.

Now, they will almost always reinstate your account if you write a good appeal, but even if they do, you're on probation for another 90 days, so you have to keep your metrics on the up and up.

Best to sell more product, pad it with cheap items you lose money on if that's what it takes.

I went above 1% and didn't get a suspension so clearly not lol

its not a guaranteed suspension if you can get it below 1% within 30 days i believe. After than expect a suspension though if its not taken care of.

That's rubbish Pal.

I've been over 1% for over 30 days on a few accounts and not been suspended.

how far did you guys go over? I will most likely be at 1.15% ish.

Stupid mistake.....Already increasing FBM sales but of course its too late and have to wait a few weeks before these new sales count....

Stupid customer filled a chargeback, had no contact prior, Amazon won the chargeback and customer filled another one that was granted.

I had a large Amazon account, got suspended about 4 separate times before I got the final hack and blow to the heart.

In my experience, it is a mixture of metrics, your appeal, your Amazon rep (I had one, not sure if everyone does?), ODR, etc.

In regards to the OP, a 3 y/o account with their first time reaching 1%, I would say you should be OK.
My honest opinion: FIX the chargeback claim however so (fight it or refund the customer) and going forward focus on customer service and steady sales to bring that ODR down before it has a chance to go up. If you get just ONE more, you're in huge risk. It sucks, I know. I really do not know nor can fathom how int he world it is possible to run an Amazon business with so much volume that sellers do not get suspended.

Huge props to them, they are the lucky ones and I feel every entry or mid level seller has the opportunity to get to their status. I feel as if they run their Amazon biz with not a single worry of getting suspended :/

My mistake. Over 1% on NINETY DAYS (90!) is a guaranteed suspension, not on 30 (which is only for your knowledge).

Like I said though, as sk8pat777 said above, if you have a good appeal, they will almost always reinstate your account the first time.

Try to solve the issue first. If your ODR come from your negative feedback, try to contact the buyer to ask them to remove the negative feedback, you may issue full refund for their order, and politely ask them to remove the feedback (do not force them, it against Amz's policy). Try to increase the sale volume by lowering your price. 1% is the red line, you have to do all the things to not to cross it.
