Bank Accounts for AMA | Address Linkage. Is this a thing?
 

Hi all,

Does Amazn link accounts that are using the same address as a previously suspended/deleted account?

I ask because I have a bank account with unused sub accounts that have different account and routing numbers. However, since it is on 1 account the address is the same on them. Tell me of your experience.

Does Amazon even check address? Does the address on file for bank have to match address on file for amazon?

Pls advise.

P.S. I know clearly about mismatched names all banks I use are ok for this. My question ONLY refers to the address situation.

I ask because I recently got an insta-link on one of my accounts and I want to why. Thanks for looking! :spy:

Amazon cannot see the address from the bank account you plan on using.

Don't provide the same address that was previously banned on amazon

Make sure the account # is unique (same routing is fine).

You were linked most likely for some other reason

From my experience. Amazon can not check the address you have on file with the bank, so do not worry about it.

Seems like I got a false positive with a prepaid card then. I assumed the greendot card worked because they give u an accounting number and routing number...

Lol. I saw them at the dollarstore and my eyes lit up.:heh:. Too bad that got that account suspended almost instantly. I kinda goofed and put my real name and address. Since I assumed it would accept mismatched names I left it as is. oh well, back to the drawing board. gonna try some more a little laterr. Thx.
