How to send your items to FBA without proper UPC code?

I got some generic iPhone wooden cases to send out to FBA. I'm trying to type in all the stuff that matters, but when I get to the upc code, the manufacturer has like a generic one I'm guessing. I type it in, and it gives me something similar to it, but that's not it. I tried typing a made up one, that didn't work either. How would you guys get around this? Thanks.

Try typing in google "upc check digit" and you will find your answers
Or just buy upc codes on ebay
But for fba upc is not that important
Amazon will make you create new barcodes to label the products before sending them off to fba

Ok, I'll give it a try,, still new to Amazon, sending stuff to fba has a lot of buttons to push!
