amazon Account was deleted with 6500gbp funds inside
 

Hello to all ,

My amazon account was deleted 3 months go and i had been trying to chase amazon payments team from last 3 months but almost lost all the hopes but made another query 2 days ago and finally got the good news that they have released the money to the account on file . but now the problem is i had bought that account from one of the seller here but had changed the account details but never received any verification funds or codes but when i went back it was still showing my new bank account on file . i am just wondering if they have sent the money to the previous bank account on file which i cant access as it was there when i got the account by one of the seller on this form .

Forum sellers would not have added a bank account to an Amazon account as far as I know before selling it to you

Best person to ask though is the seller you purchased the account from

There was a bank account added their already which i changed when i got hold of the account . i have sent messages to the seller but had no reply yet still waiting for their reply ..

I am sure that they will get back to you then :)

Usually deleted Amazon accounts do not get any of their money and so you would be very lucky to get even a %

I had an account deleted last year -got my funds back after around 100 days

i don't think any seller will add bank account before it sold.
anyway, if you did change bank account after you get control of it, once funds released, the funds will go to the bank which you added. i never heard amazon will put funds to the bank you previourly added.

i hope thats true i will be one lucky person .. as the other guy said i sent emails to md amazon uk and finally got the reply

So regardless, even if 180 days or a year passes, your money is now their money? Is this even legally possible?

In a word, YES.


180 days is paypal though, not amazon.

90 days is a more usual amount of days.

Keep in mind, amazon has been retaining funds permanently since at least 2013, if not earlier.

This is for amazon US and amazon UK more than other platforms.

They appear to be basing these fund retentions on very loose interpretations of their T&S.

One point is discussion with them is most one sided.

PS.... Another point to consider is if the account is deleted or suspended.

The former sees funds kept by amazon.

The latter sees refunds after protracted pleas.

I am writing to confirm that your funds in the amount of ***** GBP have been released to the bank account on file.

This payment took a full 5 days to hit my Halifax account.

Guys, I see people can get the fund even when their AMZ account is deleted (Almost UK accounts), but how did you do that? Which email address you sent to? Did you threaten them or beg them for the fund? I tried to email seller performance team, but they never replied. Then I tried to email Jeff, he did forward to the seller performance team but the answer is no, your fund will not be released. I do not know what should I do next, I have not tried to threaten them about the law suit, should I?

My account is based in the US, and it is ghost account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, the there is $10000 inside.

From the sounds of it, Amazon doesnt play ball. So threatening them with a lawsuit, I cant see it doing much to be honest. Also seller performance team do tend to ignore emails.
