Amazon blacklisted Entropay?
 

Hi guys,

I noticed Amazon does not accept Entropay as a payment method anymore. Once you try to purchase something using Entropay, Amazon auto suspends account and asks to verify information. I understand they started using AVS check, hence Entropay is not working anymore. Could anyone share they experience with this? Are there any work arounds?

Any input will be highly appreciated :bump:

How much was the order? As Amazon will try to verify if a high amount.

The initial order was around £10. I tried placing another order using fresh Entropay VCC and different PC/IP etc, the amount was £2 and got the same results - payment did not go through, account was suspended. I also tested it on Amazon US, FR - same, VCC not being charged. :/

I try yesterday add Entropay vcc to amazon, get limited.

Entropay hasnt work since the turn of the new year when I last tried it. It seemed to have died along with a LOT of the other VCC's and gift cards. Only 1 working in the UK but others from abroad will also work with topped up funds.

I bought some paper off Amazon with Entropay earlier this year with no issues.

However I do not sell on Amazon and the account is in my own name with my own Debit Card attached.

I've used numerous different Visa and MasterCard giftcards for purchasing items on Amazon in the last few weeks. All worked fine.

Thanks guys. Are there any cost effective ways to generate Amazon compactible VCCs on the fly? I know some banks offer sort of VCC service, just not sure which one and how to approach them.

Lots of prepaid card providers offer a VCC service - for buying they might work, for selling you will need to look elsewhere if you want a selling account as well.

Yes, rsot, that includes Entropay (used early January).

Like the OP, I am referring to using these cards to purchase with (nothing to do with setting up an Amazon seller account).

For purchasing on Amazon there are loads of cards that work.

Used entropay for a purchase a mere 45 minutes ago for amazon UK...


Account is a non stealth buyer account.

Interesting :) Could you confirm if you're able to delete Entropay VCC which got some balance left? For some reason I am getting a feeling that something is off with my Entropay account.

Bought items recently with Entropay on a stealth buyer account - no probs. Have to buy something again today, I'm not expecting issues

Entropay have changed their rules slightly. A card that doesnt have the same actual and available balance can no longer be deleted. You have to wait until all pending transactions clear before the card can be deleted. Change happened last Friday or Saturday (cant remember exactly when).

Good to know that, cheers! I wonder why no one is competing with Entropay. They seem to have a booming business with thousands of customers worldwide, yet theres no similar service I am aware of.

Goto post office and get their pre paid card works fine
