Amazon review then problem buyer
 
I sold an item $800 while my account was under review. I had printed off usps postage but ended up going with fed ex because he wanted the item right away. I voided the usps label and updated the fedex tracking. He wasn't buying it. He kept messaging me and Amazon customer service. They suspended my account when I was suppose to get a $3k disbursement on sat. He opens up AtoZ claim while package is enroute. Account is toast. Should I reroute my package and refund everybody? I've been under review since Mar 12th

I would refund and reroute - in case Amazon decide to hold your funds forever. At least that way your happy, and the customer will not be so happy, but you've already pushed him off the edge so hopefully when he gets the refund he should be content.

You can always call into amazon and see whats up. That seems really odd but amazon buyers are a pain in the rear to begin with.

His account is suspended, calling in would only result in the representative just forwarding matter onto seller performance, who correspond via email. (or maybe I got this completely wrong and this is just the case for UK).

It really depends on a few things. Is this issue the only reason why it was suspended? Is it suspended with a 90 day hold?

If it has no hold, then he may be able to talk to a representative. Not always though like you said.

Yes it was odd. I was going to refund. But amazon is saying to approve RMA and refund then close. Seems strange he took my account out and almost seems like he can keep it before even being delivered.

Suspended because of review no appeal. States that I confirmed shipping without shipping. But that's not true I canceled that label usps and put in fed ex tracking same day because buyer was demanding shipping and I wanted signture. Seems like buyer stayed stuck on that and so did amazon.

I tried but they seem to side with him so I'm trying to reroute package and refund.

Try emailing jeff@amazon.com and explain everything about the suspension. Someone will have a proper look at your account and get back to you.

Hopefully you are successful at rerouting the package back to you.

Was this a well established account? If so I would try communicate and resolve as it seems like a genuine mistake.

On the other hand if its not, its going to be a tough ride, I find when your a newly established seller on amazon its harder to get your voice heard - just my two cents

Honestly, I would call in, but only if you're still within the delivery window. I think it's hilarious when a claim is opened DURING the delivery window, it makes no sense and even an Amazon phone rep should understand that. You could possibly have the claim removed from affecting you (yes they can do that) as long as you agree to issue a full refund.

However, if you issue a full refund immediately without calling, they'll show show it as your fault and close the claim - undoing that can certainly be harder. Even though you're suspended, if your plan is to appeal the suspension, then this can help the case.

Btw, I think these scammer dudes like to target people with very little feedback numbers. Knowing they're small and have very little recourse. Sorry about that.
