Default 1 return request, 1 AZ and 3 chargeback by the same buyer for the same item.

A buyer opened a return request, I refused. He opened an AZ, I refused again and amazon sided me. A month later he opened a chargeback, again amazon sided me, he opened another charge back (supplied same info to amazon again), they didn't move on it for over a month (it is still under review), seller opened 3rd charge back claim 2 weeks again, supplied same info again. For each charge back claim amazon sent me a "Charge Dispute Inquiry" email, each time I replied but never got an answer from them.

How many charge back one can open I am wondering?

Give Amazon a call and report this - if its the same buyer (potential competitor) trying to screw you over. Hopefully any defects can be removed from your account if they suspect anything.

Most importantly, act early. If you wait till your accounts suspended, you will regret it and it will be harder to rectify the issue.

How on earth is possible to open more than one chargeback for one single item?
Does the guy work for the card company or what?

I know you don't know that. I'm just throwing the question in the air.

Buyers can file a chargeback more than once on the same transaction. So if Amazon defended one, it is possible that the buyer can try again with their bank/card issuer. Even with a different reason.

thanks for all the replies, I didn't call them because my account is frozen already due to some other issues which I assume it is the competition.

I had a look at this particular case, the reason did indeed change each time. One time the buyer claimed that the item is defective, after that that it never arrived and now that he retuned it,... I did give amazon a bit of their own medicine, I asked them for prove of shipment and delivery... till now they couldn't supply a tracking number.

just an update, Amazon finally released the money. However chargeback claims still come in, I think 10 by now by this guy. AZ told me they can't do anything about it. Anyway, I don't really care as I d not use that account any longer and since I have my money paid out.
