Just setup an LLC in WY, question regarding EIN
 

Just setup a new LLC in WY, using registered agent service that give me complete anonymity as far as my personal info goes. Tried going to the IRS.gov site to get an EIN for it, but in the application it's asking for a person responsible for the LLC, and for that person's SSN, and address. Well that kind of defeats the purpose of having an LLC in a state that doesn't list publicly the ownerships, doesn't it? What do I do, just put my home address, SSN and real name?? Can Amazon get a hold of that info through IRS or it isn't information that they can obtain?

Your registered agent did not retrieve an EIN? It is impossible to get the LLC without it....

The IRS will have your SS before giving you an EIN.

Amazon asks one question to the IRS. It is, "Does this name match this number?" and the IRS says yes or no. Anyone can look up any owner of a company no matter what state.

The difference in WY is that a published list by NAME is not available. So someone such as a creditor can not log into WY system and search your real name and find your company. It makes zero difference for amazon.
