Need a CC or VCC for my 2 year account
 

HI

My card is expiring on my 2 year old amazon account and I need a new one or else they will restrict the account any ideas?

I have tried some prepaid accounts or some gift cards, but no luck so far any help

Go get another card at store, enter it into the account, i dont ever delete an old card, i just add another.

Was the card expiring a debit or credit card?

Not as easy getting VCCs that are accepted by Amazon UK.

At the moment no / very few VCCs are working for Amazon

its a ghost one, so thats the problem I have tried gift cards but noting works right now

Ok, so it was not a real debit card then but a VCC or a prepaid card?

Like mentioned at the start of the thread at the moment there are very few / no VCCs or prepaid cards that are working

There are a few ways around it outline in a few threads over the last couple of months that are well worth researching.

AVS system actually only check door number and post code numbers ie if the real address is 240 long street s7 2JB it will be checked like this 240 72 if this match the checks will be back +ve

is this right if this works then what about using address like this on debit card
240 king street GU7 2LJ as in this case it will be checked like this 240 72

let me know if this will work rather then get whole new address for stealth amazon

Are you using random street names? as neither postcode correspond to that street.

I cannot see that working long term.

Even PayPal picks up on that and they are nothing compared to Amazon!

P.S. it takes a random user like me a second to check this, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon and Paypal have such checks integrated into their system.

Sure AVS will come back OK, but other checks are bound to fail.

not random postcode or address,

can locate any address which has same numbers in the postcode, just need to match middle numbers thats all its quite easy I think it will work will try sometime and share experience

Even if you had this sussed out, the number of possible variations you can use, and also ensure AVS matches, are very very 'very' low.

You need an alternative long term solution.
