Amazon Tax ID Questions
 

I tried creating a new account, and noticed right away they ask for tax information. Is this a new procedure with Amazon, or is this old? I can't even get into the account at all.

Another question that I have is, is it okay to change your tax information? Like if you started with company A, can you change your EIN number to company B?

If you are an Indian and have a company in India, can you move it to the USA?

Does Amazon only verify the company name with the IRS, or do they verify the individuals name as well?

I have changed the EIN on my amazon seller account without any issues at all
and Amazon only verify the company name with the IRS.
