Account suspended, supposedly linked but to who?

Ok, is this just Amazon's way of telling me that because I got some return complaints at too fast of a pace, defective and false ph** claims by ignorant customers really fast, that's why they removed my selling privileges? Because it does not tell me what account it was linked to. Or is it that they REALLY linked my account? I'm thinking this is just a generic message to tell me to stop selling on their site. (Warning Amazon links below) Here's the message:

"Hello,

You have opened a new account after we removed your option to sell on our site. This is against our policies. As a result, you may no longer sell on Amazon.com, and your listings have been removed from our site.

Please ship any open orders. If you have funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts paid for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer.

You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please send an email to payments-funds@amazon.com.

If you want to appeal this decision, click the Appeal button next to this message on the Performance Notifications page in Seller Central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...fications.html).

Sincerely,

Seller Performance Team

If you were selling the same items on this new account as your old account, it is possible that that may have linked you based on the browser fingerprint and the items sold...

Or maybe there is something else that caused the accounts to be linked. Have you reused any of the info from the old account on this new account?

Re: Account suspended, supposedly linked but to who?

Yes, I have about 4 accounts, all suspended, 2-3 have been supposedly linked, it says I opened a new account etc etc. sold products X and product Y on 3 accounts. These accounts were user accounts on the same 1 virtual machine. I have 2 other accounts that is fine so far, one virtual machine for each. Just sold product X on one vm, and product y on another vm.This is probably the safer route. What's your opinion on this matter?

It is possible that they linked your accounts because you had three on them on one VM, with different user accounts. There are people who say that it works (different user accounts on one VM or one PC), but as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't do it.

1 VM for each Amazon account is the better way to do it. Selling product x on one account and product y on another account is also a good way to not get linked to the suspended accounts.

If you have variations in product x and product y, I would say don't list all variations all at at once.

As long as you're taking the other stealth precautions too, you shouldn't run into any problems other than the rolling reserve (which will come into play at some point).

Variations, do you mean like say shoe color and size? Also I noticed, (probably not your concern because uk I imagine there's only one time zone) but here in the states, stealthers should watch out for time zones. Different user accounts, different locations thru 3000 miles + browser finger prints and same time zone? Sounds like a linking factor.

Yep sounds like a linking factor...

Variations, yes, like shoe colour and size. I sell mostly on Amazon USA and I always make sure that my VM's time zone matches IP address time zone.

If you have to many claims, especially for f**** items (even if they are not) Amazon will investigate deeper in your account. First it's not good to have too accounts on the same vm, after , as you said, time zone, and also where your items are shipped from... when they manually review your accounts they can link them easy... and their method is much more effective than ebay's one, amazon are definitely the best to link accounts !!

Do you guys recommend printing labels manually from another carrier and uploading tracking or do you'd recommend buying from Amazon? If I'm in California and I got a stealth acct in Virginia and u print the label from Amazon where u are located in California i am thinking this might raise some issues for Amazon. But then again if u upload the shipping label yourself the tracking will eventually show that u r from California.

i do not live in the US, but i do ship manually, so, i take tracking numbers stickers at my post office, and i ask a friend who lives in another city to send me stickers from his local post office, then i post everything from the same post office

Amazon doesn't mind dropshipping as long as the items are legit and you have sufficient proof that the items are legit. So the actual shipping location (California) wouldn't really matter much.

For instance, I have a wholesale supplier for books and all my books are shipped (worldwide) by the same supplier, from the same location in the UK. I sell these books over multiple accounts. Never had any issues. I upload all tracking information manually and I've never used Amazon's shipping labels either.
