Is amazon seller support just incompetent?
 

I have a stupid problem.. I sold something.. today it's supposed to ship in about a hour or so.. but I can't ship it cause the customer sent in a email/general inquiry and said..

"don't ship to that address.. ship to this one" so for whatever reason paypal.com/shipnow is broken.. I can't ship via ups with it.. and because amazon locks the customers address in their system.. I can't ship with amazon's own ups/fedex choices..

So what does one do when paypal.com/shipnow is broken? and one can't change the address field (well if your me) you contact seller support.. who let's the ticket/whatever sit and doesn't fix ****..

so that I ask the question.. are they f@#%@# incomptent or what?

What does amazon do with a few hours notice of this problem or 2 days notice with the customers email/inquiry? nothing

This entire cluster **** makes amazon seem super incompetent to me.. this is a first scenario for me.. so fill in your knowledge or what I should do if you have some..?

Cancel the transaction you have to ship to the address amazon provide you if not the person can file az and claim they never receive the package and you will lose you merchandise and the money.

alright will do.. (I'll wait till monday) too bad.. I enjoyed selling this thing. :p

I do assume this person wasn't a scammer but possible I guess?

Can't resist adding to this thread YES amazon customer can be extremely incompetent and once you are dealing with them the best option, if there is one, can be to adandon your efforts with them and just take the easiest alternative route. I have had few nightmares with them and just followed other advice picked up from here avoiding Amazon customer service completely.

PayPal Shipnow it must be a slow morning for me I think but what has that got to do with Amazon shipping?

Well, they are not just incompetent. They also have negligence, ignorance and bias on their repertoire.

And some, I assume, are good people. ©

Amazon seller Support is like kids in a kindergarten or Nursery.

Reading a wall and replying with such poor grammar and spelling mistakes

ahh since I couldn't change the address in amazon's system.. I would ship at ups rates with paypal shipnow??

but yesterday it was br0ken I assume it works now or whatever?

I have dealt with this issue before and have had claims for them wanted to ship to different address. I appealed the A to Z claim and copied and pasted the message form the buyer showing the email of the address they wanted to ship to. they ruled in my favor. I always require signature when they want to change the address

Seller support got back to me today.. and told me to cancel.. so I'll probably do that and tell them to reorder :P

So already took a shipping hit stat.. anything I can do some menu or something to reverse that.. or contact seller support through the ticket?

I'm not so sure.. just some elderly lady who ordered a ____ and couldn't even do it again.. :p

either way I did what amazon said to do :p
