Amazon US want to be paid in UK Pounds
 

Does anyone know if adding a currencies direct bank account to Amazon.com is fine?

I have a UK bank account which I can add but prefer to lower the 4% exchange commission by using currencies direct or can anyone recommend another service?

I've never tried it myself but was told that amazon can do the conversion themselves for 2.5%. (See that, Amazon? I've just advertised you, you ungrateful excuse for a boss)

I think they take 4% rather than 2.5% ..anyone have any idea with this?

I used currencydirect before but not for amazon com but for amazon eu
I gave up on them because they they have some stupid policies for adding bank accounts for withdrawal that i did not like...anyway to your question
Currencydirect works fine with amazon and i have done disbursements with them successfully
Yes its better than letting amazon doing the conversion...amazon is using the worst rates
But i am not sure you can transfer from amazon com to currencydirect GBP...the best place to ask is currencydirect for this...for example with payoneer that is not possible
I believe currencydirect can provide you with a US $ account and then you use their rates to transfer to your uk home bank account

ok thanks - what about for stealth though and mismatched names?

Yes get world first account or Payneer they charge around 2%

Yup, many other 3rd parties as well offer better rates than amazon.
