Buyer bought items from 2 stealth accounts?
 

I have a buyer that bought 2 of my items, not the same exact item, but same theme. They were purchased at the exact same time from 2 different seller accounts. On the one account I actually sell them as a set, but they bought them separately 1 from each account.

Just to be safe I'm going to mail the one how I normally mail my stuff, and the other one I will mail at a different post office. I live on the border of 3 States so a 10 minute drive in any direction will get me to a post office in another state. It also doesn't show where I ship from since I offer expedited shipping.

Do you think something is up here? Or am I being paranoid? Has anyone had this happen?

Happens to me A LOT.

I just use different packing materials and sometimes mix up shipping labels, just to be on the safe side.

Once I actually made a mistake by sending a message to the customer, talking about an item that I sold on a different account and then made up a story saying that actually we are the same company and want to save him money by combining shipping fees.
Luckily he was happy and I "got away with one"

What is your concern?

All of my items sold on my accounts or others all ship from the same facilities with the same Distribution Name and master return address on the labels. How is this a problem?

I'd be surprised if the buyer gave a crap to be honest, let alone even notice. I bought a bunch of batteries off different sellers once and most of them arrived in the same package!

You could ship one day after the other to reduce the risk of them noticing as chances are the packaging is binned straight away.

It's the same buyer that bought from 2 different accounts at the same time. Normally I don't care about shipping evert hinges together from different account, but it never been going to the same person before.

Ill just drop one off at a different post office, since there are a few by me. Just in case.

Most likely nothing, but better safe than sorry.

The concern is they could be a competitor, and they could report it to Amazon. They could of saved over $10 plus shipping if they bought it from the listing where I have both the items combined, but instead they spent more money to buy the 2 items from 2 separate accounts.

Most likely not, but you never know.

I guess I'm just being paranoid. I just never have had a buyer buy from 2 of my accounts at the same time. Each account has differnt return addresses, so it should be a issue. Thanks for the replys.

That's overdoing it - just ship different days or times if you are a bit paranoid about it.

As long as the item isn't garbage or coming from overseas (unexpected dropshipping), I wouldn't worry too much

When we run multiple accounts, this can happen.

Just do what you feel most comfortable doing for a good sale.

Avoid overthinking.

- Is the price on both account the same?
- Do you have more stock of the same item on both account? Or just 1 stock on each account?

It's a legit item, no dropshipping. Ive read before how other sellers will sabotage competition, and that's what I though of.

That you are stealth and the same seller could be farthest thing from their mind... I wouldn't even worry about it...

Stealthers all think everyone sees them stealthing sales!

Thieves think everyone notices them stealing!

Its all your own perception of the situation.

Chances are they are probably thinking about the birthday, wedding, ect or whatever reason they bought these items.

I have alot of stock of the items. For example, just say it's a red and green shirt, one the one account I have them listed as a bundle and have another listing for just the red and on the 2nd account I have the green listed and no bundle on that account. It seemed odd cause they could of bought the bundle cheaper.

I already sent the one out and will ship the other tomorrow.
