Buyer never received item!
 

So, I sold a used iPhone 6 64gb to someone on amazon. The USPS tracking said that it was delivered and received in the mailbox. However, a week later the buyer contacts me and said that he never received it. What should I do? I cannot send him another one.

did they sign for it?

Amazon will side with you, the seller, if you had signiture confirmation.

Also, amazon has a new policy about if you buy postage on amazon.com

I am so screwed with this one. I didn't get signature confirmation, and it was purchased with stamps.com

amazon will almost always give a refund even in the item is $10.00 without a signature. Now they handle it themselves and not even notify you if you print labels off the amazon site.

Sucks to have to use amazon that way but with the amount of scammers, I will only ship from amazon now and require signature for anything I feel may be claimed as not received.

Yeah, I didn't know that. And, this is a very expensive lesson. I feel like hit myself in the head as so many bad stuff happen this week.

Buy shipping through Amazon next time. they will reimburse the buyer if it says delivered and you don't have to have them sign for it

search the forums for tactics that have proven to be useful in cases like this.
A little usps will send someone there to investigate or something similar usually does the trick for most wanna be scammers.
