Finding this out has meant maintaining 99%-100% positive feedback ratings - none of which matters when you get suspended of course, but hey, still useful knowledge!
Did you know that you can get around 90% of Negative & Neutral feedback removed by seller support without the buyers consent?
Well you can, and it's a completely legitimate process which, for the most part, is completely automated by an amazon bot. Furthermore, you can get any negs and neutrals left over the past year and beyond removed so long as you can get hold of the Order ID number that relates to the neg / neutral feedback.
If a customer leaves negative or neutral feedback which relates to the product in any way or even in part, you can get it removed without the buyers consent. It doesn't matter what the problem is or if they got the wrong colour etc etc, because it relates to the product they have to remove it as it constitutes a 'product review'.
Buyers are ONLY permitted to leave seller feedback that relates to the service aspect of the transaction, so that includes dispatch time, delivery time, and seller communication - that's all. If buyers want to comment on the item purchased then they have to do so by means of a product review - which is only fair considering some disgruntled buyers will not only give you negs ranting about the product but also then leave a negative product review just to add insult to injury!
Unfortunately amazon will not remove ambiguous negative feedback comments like 'OK' or 'Alright' as they say that they could still relate to the service end of the transaction - B/S obviously, but in that case you would have to contact the customer to clarify, if you could be assed, and buyer will mostly ignore your email anyway.
To remove the offending feedback, copy the Order ID number, and then click:
Help > Contact Us > Customers & Orders > Provide or Select Relevant Order (paste in the customer order ID) > Customer Feedback Removal Request > Would you like the feedback to be reviewed for removal? >...
On the next page the amazon bot will tell you straight away whether it has been removed or not, but again, if it's product related it will be removed and disappear immediately. If it tells you that you have not been successful in your request you can check mark the appropriate box on the page, add a comment / reason if you so wish and submit for review by a human being.
Hope this proves useful :) |
