Chromebook...VPN...stores closed
 

I run many Amazon stores on a chromebook...

several were shutdown yesterday...

im trying to figure out why...

they linked it to a closed account...

i wonder if the VPN IP based in NYC, even though dynamic, may have recycled an IP address linked to a former account of mine?

or is it because i tried to run gmail on an android app called Parallel Space and may have leaked out html header info?

or is it because i tried making a backup chromebook using an old pc and using cloudready neverware and i noticed i had to personally install flash....?

or is chromebook just unsafe altogether now? i had seen here it was ok but now i dont know...

i could go the old VM route but it is too hardware intensive and annoying...

curently im tinkering with PIA VPN and putting in the LT2P/IPSEC details per account for a different city.....maybe that will work?

what do yall think??

got mine closed from elastichosts from Miami.

Maybe they dont like VPS/VPN ?

The problem here is not that your using a VPN its that you picked a very bad vpn provider for stealth accounts. Many users here use VPNs for amazon & ebay for many years without issues.

But as I mentioned, the provider is the problem, PIA is a horrible provider to go with to manage your stealth accounts with, they are a great vpn for torrenting/netflix etc but thats about it, not for stealth accounts. As they are giving you shared ips that are shared between probably millions of users so the chances of those ips already being used before for amazon & ebay hundreds of times by now is pretty much guaranteed. Thus most of them are probably blacklisted by now.

You need to find a reliable vpn provider and get a DEDICATED fresh ip, not shared
