MAC Address
 

Hey Guys

I have a question.... With regards to a new amazon account (FYI I have purchased amazon stealth)

I have decided to make things easier so I have purchased 'pendo' portable PC's (only 100AUD each) per account which means we get a brand new computer / mac address per account.

The only other question I have to do is with the internet connection... it mentions that the first 'internet' connection OR device connected when amazon is connected too for the first time is recorded.

Does that mean that after the 'first' connection you can use your regular 'mobile' as a tethering device after (seeing as IP changes every time you restart your phone)? i.e. only the very first connection matters (obviously IP / VPN will be used later, I'm only concerned with the MAC address issue / Amazon)

Yes, you can use mobile as tethering, with the setup you have.

P.S. Whether MAC address can be seen or not is debated. From a technical point of view, its not possible for Amazon to see your MAC address, unless you install a software they develop. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.
