Amazon's latest trap for disbursements

Hi,

I have funds tied up, nothing huge but it tells me i can disburse immediately or they would have automatically transferred in 2 weeks, so i opted to disburse.

Now i have a message saying if the balance remains zero it wont be transferred and the money is supposedly a reserve amount, what also makes no sense is that this money is already supposed to be available as it was under a 14 day reserve.

So Amazon tells you "hey you can have your money....wait....no you can't...just f**king with you....".

Has this ever happened with anyone else..being told you can disburse immediately, or wait two weeks, taking the bait then being told...no no no

***update***

Just looked again and now it says balance available in 2 weeks from this day exactly, so looks like they bait you with the disburse now only for the date to be reset to 2 weeks after you fall for the trap.

In the USA we only get paid every 14 days.

Yeah, those in the UK though might not know about this particular trap though, imagine you see that you can disburse immediately with that little yellow button and have waited 13 days and before the 14th day you click "Disburse Now", what will then happen is that you'll then have to wait another 14 days on top of the 13 you already waited until you clicked that button thinking you could have your cash there and then disbursed.

Re: Amazon's latest trap for disbursements

I just saw this on my US az account. My payment was supposed to disburse on July 20, now all of a sudden the money is being held in 'reserve'. Here's the current info about reserves from their website. I've never had a return, an out of stock or a late shipment. Seems like it's another way to hold on to your money for longer. I'm done with az

"Reserve period: To ensure a safe and secure experience for buyers and sellers, we may hold money from an order as a reserve until we know the buyer received the item they ordered in the condition promised. Once you build a history of delivering an excellent buyer-seller experience, we will re-evaluate the time period of the length of your reserve."

Amazon has done some major moves in the last couple of weeks. I had a good working card that is now banned so no payment for me and then this reserve crap. It's great for buying but very difficult for selling.
