New Account Name
 

Hello

Say for example my banned amazon account was under the name Joe Soap and I create a new account under the name Joseph Soap, (trying go keep as close to my bank account name as possible)

Would amazon be able to link? I'm thinking no because there are 100's of Joe Soaps out there

I would assume not. But the real question is, what else will you be keeping the same?

i.e. if you will continue to sell the same products as Joe Soap etc., and it triggers a manual reviewer, the name will give it away.

The safest option would be a completely different name, and a bank account that accepts mismatched name deposits.

Thanks, Amazon Ghost said it would be OK to do this, however I'm not so sure.

I'll go along with your suggestion. I suppose I'll only know if my bank accepts the transfer after the 1st lodgement

Bank will accept as amaozn does send on your name

I don't know how it works in Canada, but in the UK it takes several mismatched name deposits before the bank turns around and starts to question it.

There should be plenty of threads on the forum with 'safe banks to use'. I know there is for the UK atleast.

anyone has experience with fifth third and mismatch names around 2k deposit every 2 weeks
