Thinking of Selling on Amazon

Hi,

I have been eBay seller for years.
Now i am thinking of selling on Amazon.
As some have suggested that its a beast so read as much as you can on their policies etc etc. So doing that now a days.

I wanted to ask something here - Opening an Amazon account with MY Details, can i use the bank account which is under my name that i use with MY original eBay account and also use the MY PP that i use with my EB and MY Bank account? Same thing with contact number/my mobile?

And as this Amazon will be created and used under My original details, is that OK to have the email and amazon app on the phone to be prompt in replies?

Regards.

First, ebay and Amazon are not the same company so , you cannot get linked if you use the same informations.
Second, Amazon doesn't work with paypal, in fact they are competitor.

I suggest you to start amazon with a stealth account and stealth info, so if you get banned, you won't lose a "real" account.

Amazon is much more difficult than ebay , and they are very good at loinking accounts, so be careful.

good luck !!

They are good at linking accounts but if you research thoroughly beforehand you won't run into any issues.

Set yourself up with a Virtual Workstation 11 or 12 (both work just as well)

Create a Virtual machine by installing an .ISO image of Windows XP ( thats my favourite to use ) it will run quicker than other OS.

Install VMWARE Tools and then you connect your dongle or connection to the virtual computer.

Make sure you use a BRIDGED connection and NOT NAT connection when setting up the machine, also tick the box under it to replicate the connection.

you can also disable the connection you don't want to use in XP control panel

Well, my connection on my PC and my connection on VMWARE would be the same so if I disabled one, I wouldn't have a connection at all, depends if people use 2 different internets for VMWARE and the main PC.

yes, no connection at all is maybe the best way to not get linked ;)
I was thinking you suggested him to use a dongle as second connection, my mistake

Interesting. Bridging networks is great. You can run one internet connection on the host PC and another (i.e. hotspot) on the virtual machine.

But I refrain from doing this as I notice, whilst the IP/ISP on both are different, they begin to share the same DNS - which can be seen by any website you visit (including Amazon).

Whether or not this is due to the way I was setting it up when I was trialling it or whether AZ look into DNS servers, I am not sure. But it's worth noting.
