Opening new accounts on Amazon are instantly Suspended
 

For some reason all attempts to open sellers accounts are failing in immediate suspensions. This happend on my laptop, where i use VM, VPN


I tried to open one in an internet cafe using their PC. that one opened.

Could there be something on my laptop that flags up a suspension?

THe VM machine? maybe Amazon can see this?

Or could it be the VPNs i am using?

Thoughts please.

Oh but hang on , I have used WIFI in couple of cafes too . Uses the same laptop with VM and guess what, still suspended

So this is why I am thinking the issue must be with my laptop or VM or both .

About VM for each account i create one and then immediatly try to create a seller in it.

May they pick up the same details of VM .

You probably won't get advice on a good VPN to use because everyone will use it and it won't be good anymore

oh yes thanks . but i have just edited my last message.

I think its more to with laptop/VM not IP as even with out VPN i still get the same result.

Note this doesnt happen when i use a PC in internet cafe (PC there is with VM and VPN )

When you cloned your laptop for VPN was it a fresh clone?

Hey, I'm not too experienced in Amazon but could it be canvas fingerprint / webgl fingerprint?

Those depend on your laptops drivers & hardware so they came to my mind.

Hi for each new seller i create a new VM . and for this new VM i use a new VPN IP not used by me before .

When using a new VM the issue of Canvas fingerprinting shouldn't be important?

Because all Amazon see is the new VM with new browser?

If you aren't making the connection BRIDGED and tick the box underneath you will get Selling Privileges Removed immediately. Also, if you CLONE VM's you will also get the same.

Hi I never Clone VMs. I install new ones for each seller although they all essentially from the image.

Typical setup path includes bridging of network .

I think there is device fingerprinting going on.

Probably the same UBuntu OS . same **** they see or something

This is new, its the laptop. I had the same issue, no matter what I did the only way to open new account was changing computer. Seems if they plant something in your laptop, very weird.

Any reason why it needs to be that specific? i.e. Bridged + replicate connection.

As oppose to all the other options VM offers.

Maybe its Evercookies or some form of Canvas or device fingerprinting.

But that shouldn't affect VM.

They are getting more sophisticated with ways they are detecting stealth accounts. Cloned Vmwares will work as long as you setup the accounts correct. Bridged/NAT doesn't matter as far as an internet connection, it's about creating unique users

Completely disagree, BRIDGED/NAT does matter.

You're doing something very wrong OP, only problems I ever had was when cloning VM's from a 'MASTER' clone...
No issues with accounts going down my side due to fingerprinting. Although I use Stealthfox as my browser without any issues :)

That company is far too popular. Amazon has definitely got their cards marked.

You really need to find a less popular VPN provider.

I understand that but even on an non VPN but still with a VM i experienced the same thing. this is why i am suspecting fingerprinting.

I promise you its the laptop or computer, nothing to do with your connection. I used a million different ip address that i can create through hotspot via iphone. The only thing that worked for me was using a different laptop, everything else the same, worked fine.

I don't use virtual machines much anymore, but when I did use them, yes everything was created from scratch, including a different operating system on the install

Canvas fingerprinting and browser fingerprinting are 2 different things.

If amazon uses canvas, then it doesn't matter if you create a new VM, your laptop will always have the same canvas fingerprint unless you install something to either block or change your canvas element.

Even if you RDP into a VPS your VPS will have your same canvas fingerprint.

This peaked my curiosity, so I used https://panopticlick.eff.org on both my machine and a machine I RDP into and received different results. I'm no expert, so if someone more knowledgeable wants to try it out and let us know, that'd be great.
