Seller hijack, listing changed
 

I have created a new listing for an item I am selling (not private label) using my stealth account and within a couple hours a new seller has hijacked the listing and changed the bullet points listed in the description. I created the listing using my UPC/EAN number, posted the photo, etc.

How does this happen and is there anything I can do to prevent it? I don't feel as though I can count on amazon to do anything to assist me.

Same thing has happened to me. You need to check your emails. I stupidly thought i was logging in to Amazon when i received a question via email. I went back to check the email and there was a spelling mistake so change all your log in info, otherwise who knows what information they can mess around with. Especially now Amazon require so much bloody information that they are NOT keeping safe

I find it amazing Amazon allows another seller to attach to your listing and then modify it.

I have a seller that keeps changing the main photo on a listing to a different model that is much more expensive. I end up getting a lot of complaints when the buyer thinks thye are getting the newer model

This has happened 5 times in 3 months. Amazon always changes the phot back, but sometimes it takes awhile
