Help, getting money? ASAP

Hey, I just got suspened by Amazon, upon reading the forums from similar situations i read the reviews can be over 90days with some people not even getting thier money?

I got this message (below) today, and would like to know if there is anythign i can do, to speed the review up, and how long it normally takes. Is it worth emailing them now?

Your Selling Privileges Have Been Removed

Hello,

Your current sales volumes are not supported by buyer feedback or an established sales history. As a result, we are reviewing your Amazon.com seller account. During this review, you may not sell on Amazon.com. Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we review it. If you have any open orders, please ship them.

To learn more about account reviews, search for "Velocity Limits and Account Reviews" in Seller Central Help.

We will send you an email when our review is complete.

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

There is no fixed time for a seller review to take place. If it were me, I'd give it a week and then start to contact them every two or three days until the matter was resolved one way or another.

Amazon tend to only keep people's money where they know / suspect counterfeit goods are being sold.

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

ok thanks, ebayorbust, but they cannot steal the money right?
surely they have to give it to me?

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

See previous response regarding item authenticity.

Amazon are well known for this tactic. There are loads of cases where Amazon keep people's money. Some have lost a lot more than $5k as well.

Stop rushing to the worst conclusion. What good does worry do?

Nobody knows this answer yet, not even amazon.

MOST people dont loose money although some do. A LOT of times this review ends in a reinstated account once you supply invoices.

Being negative about it certainly wont help any aspect of your life.

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

you will likely get all of your funds in 90 days

yankee 08-26-2016 06:59 AM

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

In my limited experience of getting this email (exactly three times) I have had one account requesting invoices for a particular product line within 24 hours of review. I supplied what they asked for and was fully reinstated.

Another account an item got blocked from Amazon altogether and I was reinstated. They asked for nothing.

The third asked for a business details and some invoices but I received the Suspension Notice before the request so I let it go seeing as it was a pain the the ass account anyways and very unlikely to be reinstated.

Where did you get this info????????

The OP was not suspended for deleted, it's just a HARD review. Everything will be fine and the account will be stronger if it pass this review.

I've got the EXACT same situation going on. As we speak - right now.
What I did was go through my orders and ask my previous buyers, with successful transactions, to leave feedback. I even told them I'll give them a $___ coupon for any other ____ they buy from your store.

Give them an incentive and they just may do it.
Right now, Amazon wants to see that your buyers are getting what they PAID for. Blame the people who sell counterfeit goods.

You've said you've been in trouble for selling counterfeit goods. How can you not expect to be in the spotlight? Hopefully, the goods will be fine and will pass. Amazon just wants to see the customer gets the thing, they're happy about it and the story's over. They don't give a crap about the product, they just want the customer to take it, be happy with it, and collect their fees.

All will be well, just relax, do what you're asked for, and you'll be fine. Go ahead and ask those customers to leave you feedback. Remember to give them an incentive to do so.

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

I don't see this as a suspension, I believe it's a review. You should be able to get your account back, just be patient and follow amazon's instructions that are soon to come.

Worrying about not getting your money at this point is way too premature. Even if in fact you did get suspended and don't manage to get reinstated, chances of them actually keeping your money are slim. (of course assuming that you aren't selling F***s..)

Good luck and keep us informed.

PS At this point, it's a good idea to go back to all your previous sales to this point, and attmpt to get some feedback. Buyers seem to be responsive to a call for compassion.. write a message of the sorts of "Desparate times call for desparate measures. I know this is unprofessional, however, it's my only option at this time. My account has been suspended and is under review by Amazon for lack of feedback compared to my sales…" Blah blah balh, these messages are circulating around the forum and you can write a pretty good one using the existing ones. I think it will help your case immensely if you manage to get few more feedbacks during this review process.

Just supply them with what they have requested

Give them a week and then if they have not completed the review contact them.

While accounts can get deleted and Amazon can keep funds that isn't what seems to be happening here.

Exactly. A deleted account you simply have no more account. It is deleted. No emails, no messages, just when you try to log in it fails because you do not have an account anymore.

Re: Help, getting money? ASAP

I personally do not recommend to write every single one of your buyers to leave positive feedback for you. Although Amazon allows that, it is kind of a fine line for a lot of people between being asked nicely and feeling harassed. What I always recommend and does not cost the world with a new account to print a nice card or letter that you put into your order asking them for the feedback in a nice and polite manner. Goes a longer way than an email in my experience. Besides that a lot of sellers try to persuade buyers into leaving positive feedback by adding a small gift, like candy, office supplies like pens or something similar. Of course this all only works if you are operating NON-FBA.
