Preparing a ghost sellers account: A few questions...

My original account has been banned. That account is tied to my buyers account so all of my personal credit cards are no longer available for use.

I am preparing to create a new account, so far I have:

- New computer to be used on a public network
- A family member's personal information (same household)
- New PO Box Address

Now here's where I need some guidance. Searching through the forums I see that prepaid cards are no longer accepted. I will have to use the family members credit card.

My question is: Can I use a current credit card using the PO Box as the billing address? The PO is not the actual billing address. Or would it be better to activate a new credit card using the PO Box as the billing address?

In regards to my computer and network setup. The computer is brand new and it's first setup will be on a public network at my local library. So MAC address and IP should not be an issue (unless public networks are known to cause linking issues??). However, I do use a VPN service on my personal computer. I'm wondering if installing that on my new computer and using it on my home network would suffice. I don't want to take any unnecessary risks.

Just trying to cross my T's and dot my I's. Any further suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I think I found the answer to one of my questions. I'll have to have the credit card billing information match the information provided to Amazon for professional account verification purposes.

Does anyone know if I can change the billing info on a current card to my PO Box address.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums. You are taking the time needed to set up the account - good.

Yes, you can change cc billing info to whatever address you like with a call or perhaps online at your cc provider

"A family member's personal information (same household)"

I see tax problems and a ruined relationship

Get an LLC

I have an LLC, but it is associated with the banned account. The account was actually suspended during the time in which the LLC was being approved. Upon approval, I included that information in my appeal and updated my EIN on Amazon so I assume they are now linked. Is there anyway around this?

What tax problems do you foresee? Said family member is aware of the situation and currently has no income. There would be complete transparency, and family member would be involved in the operation.
