If a merchant loses buy box eligibility..
 

How long does it take before they can get it back? Is there some minimum time frame or do they get it back as soon as their metrics are fixed?

same happened to me for a particular brand of goods that had about 100 listings, I had the box for a year or so, and then I lost it and never got it back, it has been months....more sellers then came in to the list , the person that took it off me has gone down the list and is hardly selling on that platform anymore, I have stopped looking at who the current person who has the box, it is distributed amongst a handful depending on product, but I have not got a single one anymore, even though I am the cheapest on some, I still do not have buybox, as though I have been excluded, it is too complcated, I just accepted my sales went right down but I do still get sales, maybe about 20% of when I had the box....

...each situation is different but all I can say is more people discovered these goods and got accepted as distributors......thats business.

Well, you lost the buy box because you no longer have the best price. I'm talking about ELIGIBILITY. If you're not buy box eligible you won't win the buy box regardless of price.

no I had the best price on some and still no buybox

buybox eligible, well they say you got to be FBA, but my first competition that took buybox from me were not FBA either....same as me..

hopefully this bumps thread, so someone else can chip in....
