Test buys for stealth account
 

We need to purchase test buys on a product listed on one of our stealth accounts. Would it be alright if we use our actual account (live account) to purchase from the competitors on our stealth listing ? Our live account is tied to our actual address .

I wouldnt do that. I'd never connect the two in any way at all.

By using a different account and a different address, duh.

You have clarify, theoretically, using our main account (actual account, not stealth) to purchase from stealth, would be using a different account and a different address. I assume you mean, create a buyer account with a different address/name etc ?

Yes, create a buyer account that's not in any way linked to your main. Having it linked to the account you're doing the test buy for is OK though.

Gotcha! Let's take the main account out of the picture. This isn't a smart of efficient option for the purchasing stealth tests buys.

We have two options:

1. Add buyer account to for stealth seller account
2. Create a second stealth account all together, however, if we use this option we still risk it being linked to our 1st stealth account.


For the 1st option, our account is still on rolling reserve (new account) though everything is selling smoothly, and have had disbursements etc. Will opening a buyer account and adding address that is no way associated with our business address (on the account) and shipping address, ip address etc. be a problem ?

Shouldn't be an issue as long as it's not linked to your main. There's no reason to go out of your way to prevent it from being linked to the account you're doing the test buy for, because presumably you're going to be handing over the order # for the test buy to amazon anyway, which will link the 2 accounts.

The only time you need to make sure a buyer account isn't linked to your seller accounts are if you're doing something fraudulent with the buyer accounts.
