Amazon Shares Bank Account Number With The Feds?
 

I've purchased an Amazon account. The only information that can be linked to me is the bank account number. Can/will Amazon share the bank account number with the FEDS?

Agreed.
These corporations (ebay,Amazon etc) are huge. It they had to chase after every seller that did something wrong there would be no end to it. Same applies to the government.
instead their solution to such situation is a suspension of the account until the owner can prove sufficiently that the items theyre selling are legit and allowed.

All my items are legit, so that's not a concern of mine. Just wondering if my stealth is not only from Amazon but from the Feds as well.

Your account will probably get deleted WAY before you get the chance to push anything to get them to even notice your bank account.

You realize amazon reports your sales to the IRS if you gross more than 20K in a year right?

And if you're using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ EIN you're going to have big problems.

Don't be stupid. If you want to cheat your taxes trying to hide your revenue that's reported on a 1099 isn't the way to do it.

Just save yourself the headache and pay your taxes.

Well yeah, they get nasty when someone tries to pay nothing.

I always pay something, then they usually disallow some deductions later on and send an assessment w/ some interest (and no penalties), which I obviously pay.

Trying to pay nothing when your revenue is on a 1099 will get you a full audit plus penalties on top of interest.
