What would you do with a 4month return?

Customer requested a return saying item was defective from an order 4 months ago. I believe this is an item the manufacturer requires it be bought from an authorized dealer for warranty so I approved to return.

Received the item, and nothing is wrong. What would you do? This pisses me off people just borrow things and then return them for newer items.

I sent her an email stating if she could describe the problem because nothing was found to be defective.

Send her pictures and issue 50% restocking fee?

When I get an item back in good condition, I issue a refund.

This is a tough one to swallow but just think would you prefer it had been damaged?

That said, why did you accept the return? Your contract is with amz and the buyer. Did you fear the manufacturer would chase you?

You already ****ed this up when you authorized the return.

It should've been denied as out of policy, period.
