Starting A New Account

hi, there everybody!!..new here :)
just wanted to ask a few question..answers would be appreciated greatly :)
1.is having a password for a new account that is the same as your old suspended account..could this get your new account banned?
2. i bought a stealth ebook about at the end of last year..is this the most recent one?
3. when i get my account up and running..i will be selling 1 item a week pricing up to $800 ...is this too much??(could it get me suspended quickly??)
4.does ebay check your paypal bank account??..could i put my old bank account details on my new paypal account and not get banned?..as the only bank account i have..and only way to get verified..as when i use the gift card i had..paypal doesn't give me an option to make deposits for verification...

Thanks!! :)
And Happy Ebaying :)

Welcome to the forum.

1. No definite proof, but not a likely problem. By the time it got this far, they already nailed you.

3. Probably a bit much to start out with. I don't think the monetary value would get you suspended, but would almost certainly get you limited. Depending on what item is being sold at that amount, the category or classification might get you suspended though.

4. eBay doesn't check it. Paypal does the checking of the bank account. If that account was ever used previously, that would get the account linked. If the previous account was a suspended login, the link to a suspended account would almost guarantee your new account an instant death.

wow...thats the fastest reply i've ever seen!! :O
might start listing slowly...
relieved that ebay doesn't check bank account details :)..should be setting up a new account soon..
thanks for the quick reply :)

Just keep in mind that ebay and PP are the same company. PP will check and if there is an undesireable match, they will notify ebay.

Start listing slowly and for items priced much lower than 800 per. Increase the volume and the value incrementally.

would that still apply if my old paypal account is still active and not suspended or anything like that??..
its just my old ebay account that got suspended..(was linked to my old paypal account)

Tough question to give a firm answer to.

Safe suggestion: get new stealth everything.

You are allowed only ONE paypal acct for personal and ONE for business use (don't nitpick this, there are loopholes for ADVANCED users - but don't anyone kid yourselves into wishful thinking - very few here qualify as ADVANCED). You can have several ebay accounts as long as all are in compliance. The minute one goes bad, they all go bad. When PP gets alerted to that, they tend to panic and limit or remove your access. Thus, my safe suggestion.
