Questions About New Ebay Account
 

Hi There..
Well about 2 months ago i started a new stealth account..
new name..address..ip..credit card etc..
account has been going very good so far...selling at a steady rate(about 2 items per week max price $80 each)
everything i buy i always tell the seller to send it to my real address......only on 1 occasion has seller posted to stealth address before i payed :mad2:


1. if i do get a temporary suspension because of a listing\vero etc..
would it be possible to change your ip address and say that you didn't list the item??..somebody hacked your account??..i know its kinda cheeky lol :D
but just wanted to know..just to be on the safe side and something does happen

2. with paypal..
if you make a business paypal account..does the bank account have to be under the business name??..or can it be under any name??
..because if you make a personal account the last name of the bank account has to be the same as the one on file

3. leading under the previous question..
is it possible to make a new account under your real name\real address etc..
even though its the same name\address etc, that was on your suspended
account....and put this account as the paypal account which buyers pay too(but the stealth paypal account will still be linked to my paypal account)
(its just changing the paypal account which buyers pay too)

anyway..your help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

ps:the stealth guide has been great help!!..i would never have survived being on ebay without it!!!!!!!!!

1. eBay won't listen to your story. they do what veros ask them to do.

2. You do not need match the name.

3. Not safe if you put that eBay account to sell stuffs.

1) Extra scrutiny from Ebay not worth it.
2) Name issue doesnt matter in Aus. Research more posts here
3) It is possible to do what you suggest but many risks to that as Ebay and Paypal are in effect the same company and not only share information but you can be assured that any problems on the stealth acct.[selling vero items] will result in a paypal[real/ac and stealth a/c] limitation. I wouldnt do it.

seems like a long time to wait 30 days till it gets reinstated :(

hi,might try making another account aswell..just incase something happens to this one..
do i need to change all the info again??..like name,address etc.?
how do i access both accounts...and having 1ip address each account?
like if i have an account with one ip address and the other with the same ip address..
one gets banned..how do i stop the other one from getting banned?..
...do you need to use different internet or something? with different ip?

Non-vero taken-downs are not as dangerous as the ones offed by veros.

You'd better use new info for the new account because that's the spirit of stealth. Never put 2 accounts under same IP. One gets suspended, you hand over the other account to eBay, they are linked. That won't do you any good in a long run.

You don't need to use different internet service provider or different computers in order to get different IPs. You can search more on this forum to find out how other people get different IPs using the existing windows and internet.
