Do any prepaid cc work as secondary payment for MP?
 

Hello, 2 things first.

1. Just joined however have been reading the forums on and off for years now
2. Sorry for posting in AU suspensions but I couldn't find a ebay section for Australia.

Since moving over to MP I am using a online saver account which doesn't let ebay take out the microdeposits. They come in fine to verify my bank account but ebay can't take them back which opens a can of worms. Even when I select use this bank for paying fees ebay says I need a secondary payment option and my payments are on hold.

Only options are cc/debit or bank account. Does anybody know if the system will accept any prepaid cc as a secondary option?

Does the bank have a physical branch or contact number so you can contact to enable withdrawals?

The problem is yes there is branches but I already have a ebay account attached to my main transaction account and just opened a few online saver accounts for a few stealth accounts. This works very well with PayPal since the deposits come in and you can verify. However it seems now with MP it gets more tricky as they deposit the few cents but they also try take them back.

Online saver accounts by definition are not made for direct debits so don't think it can be enabled.

Now that paypal is gone pretty much the only option is a cc/debit card for seller fees, this is a bit bs too because MP takes their cut direct from a sale. Anyway before I go and buy a prepaid cc at the shops I thought ill check with the experts

I understand - best of luck since I haven't explore AU platform much; experience is nil on my end though.

1. I recommend you read the stealth guide . I urge you to.

2. No on prepaid.

3. Get a real checking bank account

4. If you need a good card, go to the marketplace of this forum and look for someone who does an AU VCC
